A great mobile experience is increasingly being expected of app developers. We have our own iOS app, JustTheBill, which has helped teach us about the app ecosystem and what users are looking for on mobile. We’re experienced building native apps, as well as HTML5 apps for the mobile web.
Collaborations are an important part of our business. We don't have in-house designers or illustrators, so all of our projects involve some level of collaboration.
Discovery is typically done shotgun with our creative partners, so that everyone is focusing on the project plan at one time. Once we have gathered the requirements and set a project plan that we can all agree upon, we typically take charge of project management and delivery.
We employ both front-end and back-end developers so we can take ownership (and pride) in implementing the provided designs. We shoot for pixel perfect CSS.
Of course, we've done enough of these projects to know that every one is different. We work with our clients to come up with an arrangement that suits the project's needs and limitations. We're still finding new ways to do this better.
